New Bedford recorded 147 property transfers between July 3 and August 1, with 76 deeds disclosing a sale price. Prices ranged from $127,000 on Query Street to $6.7 million each for twin Cove Street parcels sold by WOOBNB LLC to MHC 390 New Bedford MA LLC; the median disclosed price was $454,950. Other notable sales included a $2 million transfer at 25 Homers Wharf and a $1.43 million sale at 503-507 No Front St. Fifteen parcels moved from the City Treasurer to the Redevelopment Authority, and dozens of other deeds show matching grantor/grantee names, suggesting family or trust transfers rather than market sales -- a reminder that raw deed counts include more than open-market activity.
