New Bedford Home Sales Top Out at $1.05 Million as Acushnet Avenue Corridor Dominates Deed Activity
New Bedford recorded 144 property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, with 89 carrying sale prices ranging from $500 to $1,050,000 and a median of $450,000. The period's top sale was a $1.05 million transfer of the multi-address property at 760-764 Coggeshall St. from 2 Seas Properties LLC to JS Residential LLC. Acushnet Avenue drew more recorded transfers than any other street, with nine deeds spanning $325,000 to $715,000. Roughly 55 sales, both priced and unpriced, fell under $500,000, while a notable share of the remaining unpriced transfers appear to be family, trust or estate transfers rather than open-market sales.
